BHA is a mixture of two isomers, 2-tertiary-butyl-4-hydroxy-anisole and 3-tertiary-butyl-4-hydroxy-anisole. This mixture is commonly referred to as butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA). It is an excellent synthetic antioxidant.
