1. Summer Camp for community children
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation organised a summer camp for the community children. Under this initiative Ms. Shalini Choudhary and Mr. Ankush Kamboj of Jubilant Ingrevia Limited, Gajraula volunteered for this initiative.
They took a session on Dance and Drama. The event was followed by different activities like meditation and self-centering session which helped them to boost their confidence. Around 25 children from the community participated in this event
2. International Yoga Day
World Yoga Day was celebrated on 21st June at the Ganga Ghat Tigri, Gajraula. The local community people and students of Upper Primary School, Tigri participated in the event. With a participation of over 70 individuals, the yoga trainer explained about the importance of yoga and how yoga plays a crucial role in maintaining physical and mental health. People from the community were excited to participate in the event and a detailed discussion on asanas and pranayams was followed by the meditation.
3. RACE Initiative
RACE (Reduction, Awareness Circular (Solutions) & (Mass) Engagement) is a government initiative to reduce single-use plastic waste. Under this initiative, we distributed 10,000 cloth-bags to the local vendors. This was a joint initiative of Jubilant Bhartia Foundation (JBF) and Municipal Corporation of Gajraula. JBF is actively participating in this initiative through the making of cloth bags from scrapped clothes through its Self Help Groups (SHGs). Also, the students of 65 intervention schools participated by taking a pledge.
In order to replace plastic bags with cloth bags, 10,000 Sakhi Bags (cloth bags) are to be made by the women of SHG groups under this joint initiative q. Also a cloth donation drive has been initiated in the residential colony of the Company and also in the nearby area. Under Sakhi bag initiative we working to make the environment plastic free on the concept of 3R-Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
4. Jubilant Pratibha Purashkar certificate distribution
Jubilant Pratibha Purashkar Scholarship Exam aims to support Government school children of class 9 for four years for their studies. Under this initiative JBF works towards reducing the student dropout rate and also support under-privileged children to continue their studies. On July 4, 2022, a cycle and a certificate were distributed to each of the students selected in this scholarship by Shri ChandraShekhar Shukla (Chief Development Officer) CDO, Gajraula. Also the CDO requested the parents on the line of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao to let their daughter have an ambitious future. The Block Education officer along with teachers, students and parents participated in this event.
5. Health Camp for school children
A health and eye-checkup camp was organised at U.P.S., Sultanther, in collaboration with the education department. Md. Rashid, Block Education Officer, was also present during the event. Over 130 people including students participated in the camp.
1. Pashu Sakhi Project
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, in partnership with The Goat Trust, started two projects on livestock – Goatry and Poultry. Under this project, 500 and 100 farmers registered respectively. 10 Pashu Sakhi’s have been trained who are helping these farmers by creating awareness on the health. They act as health agents for these Goatry and poultry farmers.
Under Goatry, nine health camps were organised in nine villages which include 35 articial insemination, 23 First Aid to goats and 256 Deworming exercises. Also, under the poultry project, regular monitoring of 60 poultry farmers are being done on regular basis.
This project not only empowers the poultry and Goatry farmers to have a stable source of income but also has created a greater impact in the lives of all the 10 Pashu sakhis.
2. Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Centre (JBFMC) and Ayushmaan Card Campaign
Providing affordable health care facility, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation started community health care service which includes Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Centre (JBFMC) and Mobile Health Camp. This helps us to empower community hence strengthening the health care facility in the area. For the month of June ’22, 803 outgoing patients were registered at JBFMC and 1,329 patients were registered through mobile dispensary and 96 ayushmaan cards were made. Under the mobile eye initiative (Mobile Eye Checkup Van), 1,766 patients were screened
3. CLAP Project (Continued Learning Access Project)
In order to address the issues related to online education, HP in collaboration with JBF started CLAP (Continued Learning Access Project) project. Under this, a laptop and Wi-Fi facility is provided to the registered students. Currently, we have 2,612 beneficiaries registered under this project. We have covered 35 schools where 346 beneficiaries completed their 20hours training on basic & advanced computer skills, finance management and vocational course

PROJECT DETAILS
1. Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Centre
In order to provide affordable, accessible and equitable public healthcare, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation has started a community healthcare program called Jubicare. Since its inception, our services has helped empowering communities to stay healthy and strengthen basic health care facilities around SEZ. Through our JBF Medical Centre mobile dispensary services, we have diagnosed and treated over 727 people by using information and communication technologies for exchange of valid information this month.
Apart from this, all OPD patients are given advice and insights on how to inculcate better health habits into their lives. JBF Medical center was operational for 26 days and Telemedicine services were operational for 22 days this month.
2. Pravesh Utsav
The Jubilant Bhartia Foundation participated in the ‘Pravesh Utsav’ event organised by the government to commemorate and inspire the newly enrolled 1st-grade students. The event was inaugurated by the facility executives and other high-ranking officials from the local government. The Jubilant Bharuch team presented first-grade students with a kit consisting of a school bag, lunch box, water bottle, and compass box. JBF covered over 280 students across 12 primary schools of Vagra and Bharuch.
3. Muskaan Celebration
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation distributed gifts and awards for the students who ranked first, second, and third in grades 1 to 8 across 14 educational institutions in recognition of their outstanding academic achievement. The organisation's goal in hosting this event is two fold: inspire young people to seek higher education; honour the achievements of the students.
4. Entrepreneurship Development Program
The Jubilant Bhartia Foundation organised an Entrepreneurship programme with the purpose of encouraging individuals to start their own businesses. The organisation aided in the development of participants' entrepreneurial abilities by providing a stimulating programme that lasted for a total of twelve days and included thirty participants. Training was provided to the trainees so that they would be prepared to launch their own sewing and salon businesses.
In addition, the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation advised the participants on the requirements for both enterprise and commentary, as well as how they might make use of the advantages offered by government programmes designed to encourage entrepreneurial activity.
5. Yoga Day Celebration
At the Skill Upgrading Center in Bharuch, all present and former students participated in a celebration of International Yoga Day hosted by the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation. The participants were instructed on and then given practice in a variety of yoga postures. In addition to that, the participants put on a performance in which they did yoga while soothing music played in the background.
6. Certification Program
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation gave certificates to trainees who successfully finished their training in several courses like tailoring, beautician, basic computer, soft skills, supply chain and logistics management. There were a total of 117 trainees who were awarded certificates of completion. The trainees will benefit in the long run from the certificates they get for their course completion and contribute to their sustainable livelihood generation.
7. Tuberculosis Awareness
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation has been actively working for the elimination of Tuberculosis. With the purpose to end TB, a strong group of volunteers was assembled. The volunteers went into their local communities and undertook symptomatic screening, going door to door to look for early signs of tuberculosis in individuals. Once it was determined that a member was experiencing any symptoms, that person was sent to a specialist for further evaluation and medical treatment.
8. Ambulance Inaugration
A new mobile dispensary by the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation in Bharuch was inaugurated by the Co-CEO - Mr. Anil Khubchandani, COO - Mr. Vijay Srivastava, SVP - Ms. Vinita Koul, Sr. Director HR - Mr. Malladi Srinivasn, and individuals from the Local government body of Vorasamni. The ambulance will travel across the villages of Vagra Taluka in order to give the people in remote villages with medical care. The ambulance is equipped with a Vitor kit, hence tests like blood sugar levels, electrocardiograms, blood pressure readings and many other facilties inside the ambulance.
9. Plastic Waste Management (Eco-Warrior Project)
A new initiative for the management of plastic garbage in rural regions was started by the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation team in Bharuch in collaboration with the Taluka Panchayat Vagra and the Vorasamni village panchayat. The teams distributed two dustbins in each 564 households in order to facilitate garbage collection, and also made available an electric vehicle for garbage collection and transportation to plastic recycling plants. The electric van for plastic waste collection was inaugurated by the Co-CEO - Mr. Anil Khubchandani, COO - Mr. Vijay Srivastava, SVP - Ms. Vinita Koul, Sr. Director HR -Mr. Malladi Srinivasn and the local government body of Vorasamni.

1. Kanya Kelavni and Shala Praveshotsav
(Girl-child scholarship and School Welcoming Celebration)
Government schools in Gujarat celebrate the enrolment of new students every year and announce a girl-child scholarship in this event. Shala-Praveshotsav is an event for this celebration and it was organised in the beginning of every academic year. Various high-ranking government officials are invited as chief guests for this event so that the students are motivated for the upcoming year. Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, being a regular investor in the future of these school students, participates actively in these events.
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, Savli participated in the Shala-Praveshotsav in eight schools by donating a welcome kit to all new enrolment students. The kit included a school bag, a lunch box, a pencil box and a water bottle. The students were super excited about these gifts and looked forward to using them for school.

3. Ambulance Inaugration
The new mobile dispensary for the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation-Savli and inaugurated by the Co-CEO - Mr. Anil Khubchandani, COO - Mr. Vijay Srivastava, SVP - Ms. Vinita Koul, Sr. Director HR - Mr. Malladi Srinivasn and the Site Head Mr. Gurish Khosla. This ambulance will travel across 15 villages of Savli Taluka in order to provide medical care to residents of underserved villages. The ambulance is equipped with a health screening kit to determine the basic parameters at the preliminary level.
4. Digitisation of Schools- Smartclass
In continuation to the E-Muskaan digitalisation project by Jubilant Bhartia Foundation and in integration with the prescribed equipments for smartclass as per Gujarat Education Board, three more schools have been digitalised with five Smartclasses. This is an end-to-end support to students’ learning as it contains a projector, interactive digital whiteboard, laptop and surround sound speakers.
