MAKING PRIMARY HEALTHCARE ACCESSIBLE TO ALL
Accessible primary healthcare services are provided to the community by the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Centre (JBFMC) in Gajraula at nominal rates as low as ₹10. Numerous diagnostic services are also offered at affordable prices. Jointly offering referral services for specialised outpatient departments (OPDs) in fields such as orthopedics and oncology, JBFMC works with Ujala Cygnus and the Jagannath Charitable Trust. A mobile dispensary unit additionally provides affordable medications and basic healthcare to isolated area in Amroha. The entrepreneurs in the villages are also trained to learn basic things like measuring blood pressure and checking blood sugar levels. This is facilitated under Vitor project in collaboration with Sewa at Home. The initiative has improved access to basic healthcare at doorstep by offering these services at low costs. Additionally, JBFMC has included an operational eye care centre.

YOGA DAY CELEBRATION
On June 21, 2024, the International Yoga Day was commemorated at Ganga Ghat, Tigri. 400 individuals took part in the yoga session, which was organised by Namami Gange (District Ganga Association) in association with JBF. The session was highly successful in promoting the health and well-being of the participants.
Shri Rajiv Tarara (Dhanaura MLA) addressed the audience, emphasising the significance of yoga in our lives and its potential to enhance our physical and mental well-being.
Overall, the celebrations provided a wonderful opportunity for people to come together, practice yoga asana and gain a deeper understanding of its benefits.
UTTAR PRADESH YOGASAN SPORTS COMPETITION
The Uttar Pradesh Yogasan Sports Competition commenced on June 27, organised by the JBF in partnership with the UP YogaSan Sports Association. This three-day event, hosted in Chotipur, Amroha, offered a platform for athletes from five different states to demonstrate their yoga expertise across various categories - women's, sub-junior, junior, senior, and master levels. The opening ceremony featured JBF Gajurala team, highlighting the foundation's dedication to fostering yoga and promoting healthy living. Acharya Dr. Sumedha Ji, the distinguished Founder of Girls Gurukul Chotipur was the chief guest, encouraging and supporting the athletes. The competition took place at the Shrimad Dayanand Kanya Gurukul College in Chotipur, which offered a well-equipped and tranquil setting for the participants.
AMROHA COMMEMORATES BLOOD DONATION DAY WITH ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION
In an effort to raise awareness about the significance of blood donation, a special event took place in Amroha on June 14, coinciding with World Blood Donor Day. The day featured a two-fold approach:
Recognition Ceremony: Hosted by Shri Rajesh Kumar Tyagi, District Magistrate (DM) of Amroha and the District Health Administration. the Recognition Ceremony was organised to honor and commend individuals who have consistently shown dedication to blood donation. This event served as a public recognition of their selfless actions and aimed to motivate others to do the same.
Blood Donation Camp at JBF Medical Centre: In addition to the recognition ceremony, the JBF Medical Centre in Amroha conducted a blood donation camp on the same day (June 14, 2024). This camp provided a convenient platform for residents to directly contribute to the blood bank and potentially save lives.

WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY
JBF Medical Center celebrated World Environment day to promote environmental awareness and sustainability. The trees were planted to spread the message and encourage participation to ensure a healthier planet for the future generations.

INAGURATION OF DIDI KI DUKAAN
The JBF Gajraula team has initiated a project named ‘Didi Ki Dukaan’ in collaboration with B-Able organisation. The main goal of this project is to provide economic and social support to women in rural areas, enabling them to establish their own shops and become micro-entrepreneurs.
Recently, inauguration events were held in Naipura and Alsmpur for two ‘Didi Ki Dukaan’ stores, managed by village-level entrepreneurs. Chandan Kumar, from the JBF team and the B-Able Foundation team were both present at the inauguration ceremonies.
Witnessing the enthusiasm of the women running the stores was truly inspiring. Additionally, discussions took place regarding the possibility of incorporating more local products into the supply chain for further collaboration.

JBF MEDICAL CENTRE AND MOBILE DISPENSARY SERVICES
The community healthcare programmes organised by the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation (JBF) is dedicated to providing affordable, accessible, and fair public healthcare services across 19 villages situated within our plant premises. Through several initiatives, JBF has contributed to enhancing the nearby basic healthcare infrastructure and empowering the local communities to take charge of their well-being. All disadvantaged residents who visit the Medical Centre and Mobile Dispensary receive comprehensive medical assessments, necessary medications, day-care services, as well as guidance and education on adopting healthier lifestyle practices. In June 2024, our JBF Medical Centre and Mobile Dispensary Services collectively catered to 1258 patients, delivering diagnoses and prescriptions.
PULSE POLIO DRIVE
In line with our dedication to the Pulse Polio Immunisation Campaign, an initiative by the Government of India to eradicate polio in the country, the CSR Team of JBF Bharuch, in collaboration with PHC, Pakhajan, conducted a Pulse Polio Drive following a request from the Mamledar of Vagra.
Throughout the 3-day campaign, 853 doses of the polio vaccine were successfully administered across nine villages, namely Pisad, Sutrel, Vahiyal, Pipaliya, Vastikhandali, Rahad, Vachnad, Juned, and Ankot.
This endeavour displays JBF's unwavering commitment to supporting the cause of polio eradication and safeguarding the health and well-being of children within the communities. Through our collective efforts, we strive to make a significant and lasting impact towards achieving a polio-free India.
EDUCATION
SHAALA PRAVESHOTSAV 2024
The recent Shaala-Praveshotsav event organised by the JBF Bharuch was a jubilant celebration marking the enrolment of new students in government schools in Gujarat. The ceremony, which took place at the beginning of the academic year, was graced by high-ranking government officials and saw active participation and support from the foundation's team in the Bharuch and Vagra blocks.
This year, the JBF CSR Team honoured 355 newly enrolled first-graders at 21 schools, with the aim of inspiring and motivating them for their educational journey. Furthermore, 120 students who excelled in grades III-VIII or demonstrated perfect attendance were acknowledged for their remarkable achievements.
A delegation from Jubilant Ingrevia Limited and Jubilant Infrastructure Limited, led by Ms. Devina Kamal, Associate Director, CSR; Mr. Alkesh Rana, Associate Director, Public Relations and Public Affairs; Mr. Pradeep Kumar Nagar, Associate Director, EHS; Mr. Lallubhai Savjibhai Kar, Senior Manager, EHS; Dr. Hemant Chauhan, Senior Manager, OHC; and other Jubilant employees, graced the event to honour the students.
MUSKAAN EDULAB PROJECT INAUGURATION
The Bharuch CSR Team of the JBF recently launched the Muskaan EduLab Project at Saladara Primary School and Rahad Primary School, signifying a major achievement in improving primary education in the area. Ms. Devina Kamal, Associate Director - CSR, Jubilant Ingrevia Limited; Mr. Alkesh Rana, Associate Director - Public Relations and Public Affairs, Jubilant Infrastructure Limited; Mr. Mehul Gamit, Assistant Engineer - Vagra; Mr. Jayesh Patel, CRC Coordinator - Kadodara; and Mr. Kirit, Sarpanch Rahad, attended the inauguration ceremony.
The innovative Muskaan EduLabs project aims to transform primary education by using personalised adaptive learning, with computer labs equipped with MindSpark educational software. This advanced technology evaluates students' IQ levels and customises Maths and Language lesson plans to enhance their learning journey. Through tailored curriculum support, the initiative aims to significantly improve the learning experience for primary school children.
The JBF has successfully implemented the Muskaan EduLab project in twelve government primary schools, providing hardware and software support to five schools and software support alone to seven schools. This initiative benefits 1,867 students, who will now have access to a more engaging and effective learning environment.
The feedback from schools has been overwhelmingly positive, as the program has enhanced educational quality and meets students' educational and learning needs. The Muskaan EduLab project demonstrates JBF's dedication to empowering young minds and offering them the best education possible.
SCHOOL NUTRITION GARDEN INAUGURATION
The Bharuch CSR Team of the JBF recently introduced a School Nutrition Garden at Vilayat Primary School, as part of their efforts to promote healthy eating habits and nutrition education among students. Ms. Devina Kamal, Associate Director - CSR, Jubilant Ingrevia Limited, led the inauguration of the School Nutrition Garden.
This new initiative aims to supply fresh, green vegetables, legumes, and pulses to the school's Mid-Day Meal Kitchen, ensuring that students have access to nutritious meals. In addition to providing healthy food, the School Nutrition Garden will also function as an outdoor classroom, allowing students to gain practical experience with nature and gardening. This will help them develop essential skills in growing their own food, while learning about the nutritional benefits of various vegetables and the harmful effects of junk food.
The School Nutrition Garden is expected to have a positive impact on the health and well-being of the students, addressing malnutrition and micronutrient deficiencies. 239 students at Vilayat Primary School will benefit from this initiative, which is in line with the foundation's mission to promote education, health, and nutrition among underprivileged communities.
Through promoting a deeper understanding of nutrition and healthy eating habits, the JBF's School Nutrition Garden initiative is set to create a lasting impact in the lives of these young students.
YOGA DAY CELEBRATIONS
The JBF Bharuch CSR Team, in partnership with Vilayat, Saladara, and Rahad Primary Schools, commemorated International Yoga Day with immense excitement and happiness. Students, teachers, parents, Shaala Management Committee members, and village opinion leaders actively engaged in the event at all three schools.
The occasion emphasised the significance of integrating yoga into daily routines to enhance physical and mental well-being. Mr. Fahim Rayli, Ms. Krina Singapuri, and Ms. Muskaan Raj from the JBF Bharuch CSR Team guided the students through warm-up exercises, yoga poses, and meditation sessions. The students displayed great enthusiasm and energy throughout the activities, displaying their love for yoga.
A total of 418 students (215 boys and 203 girls), 33 teachers, Shaala Management Committee members, and 73 community members, including parents and village opinion leaders, took part in the event across the three schools.
SCHOOL SANITATION PROJECT INAUGURATION
JBF Bharuch CSR Team has initiated the School Sanitation Project at Vilayat Primary School in support of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The project aims to instil healthy and hygienic practices among students and the community by constructing an eco-friendly toilet block. Ms. Devina Kamal, Associate Director - CSR, Jubilant Ingrevia Limited, officially opened the newly constructed Sanitation Block on 27 June. The school authorities, teachers, students, Gram Sarpanch, and Gram Panchayat Members expressed their appreciation to the JBF Bharuch CSR Team for providing this essential sanitation facility, which will greatly benefit the students. 239 students at Vilayat Primary School will be positively impacted by this initiative, enhancing their health, well-being, and overall educational journey.
MUSKAAN FELLOWSHIP CERTIFICATION PROGRAMME
The Muskaan Fellowship is a program that spans a year, focusing on mentoring and training rural adolescents to develop leadership skills, guiding them towards goal-oriented futures, and encouraging active citizenship. In the fiscal year 2023-2024, diverse groups of young individuals from local communities took part in this initiative.
Throughout the program, these fellows participated in three extensive training sessions, acquiring the necessary skills and knowledge uplift their respective communities. They actively took part in various community development projects in their villages, displaying their dedication to instigating change. Moreover, they played a vital role by organising value-based sessions for primary school students in their communities, inspiring the upcoming generation of leaders.
To acknowledge their commitment and hard work during the yearlong Leadership Development Program, we held a certification ceremony for the Muskaan Fellows who successfully completed the program. During this event, each fellow was individually recognized and commended for their outstanding efforts, celebrating their progress and accomplishments.
NOTEBOOK DISTRIBUTION
The JBF team in Bharuch reached out to the disadvantaged community in Vagra, a rural village in Bharuch district, through the distribution of notebooks to students in need. The village is inhibited by numerous tribal families engaged in various forms of labour, such as working in industries, agriculture, or selling produce at the local market. Many of these children assist their parents with farm work, livestock care, or household chores, making it difficult for them to buy essential items like books, notebooks, and stationery.
Through the provision of these notebooks, JBF aimed to narrow this educational gap and support the academic journey of these deserving students. The smiles on the faces of the children upon receiving the notebooks were truly heart-warming, inspiring JBF to continue its endeavours in promoting social welfare.
LIVELIHOOD
FARMERS EMPOWERMENT PROJECT
The JBF's Farmers Empowerment Project, in partnership with FarmBridge Foundation, is dedicated to enhancing agricultural income through the introduction of value-added practices and the promotion of sustainable farming techniques. The primary goals of this initiative include educating rural farmers on diverse agricultural methods, offering livelihood support, and encouraging innovative farming practices to empower the farming community.
Currently, the project is active in ten villages: Vilayat, Derol, Bhersam, Dayadara, Vahalu, Argama, Saladara, Rahad, Vahiyal, and Suthrel.
This month, the project team convened a meeting aimed at familiarising farmers with labour-saving technologies for seeding and weeding tasks. A field demonstration took place on June 27 in Derol Village, attracting farmers from all participating villages who came to observe the technology in action. The demonstration offered essential insights into enhancing productivity and minimizing labor expenses, which the farmers expressed a strong interest in applying to their own agricultural practices.
Ms. Devina Kamal, Associate Director of CSR at Jubilant Ingrevia Limited, was present at the meeting in Derol Village, where she assessed the project's interventions and engaged in fruitful discussions with the farmers. SKILL UPGRADATION CENTRES
The JBF, in partnership with the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED), an organisation under the Government of Gujarat, has established two Skill Upgradation Centres (SUC) in Bharuch and Vilayat since 2019. These centres aim to provide skill-based training to local community members in order to enhance their employability prospects.
The Skill Upgradation Centres provides a wide array of skill training courses. These courses encompass skills like Sewing Machine Operator (SMO), Beautician, Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA), Mehndi, and Basic Computer-Tally. The meticulous planning of these courses enables the community members to secure sustainable sources of income.
PROJECT NAYEE DISHA - CERTIFICATION PROGRAMME
The JBF in collaboration with the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED) and Gujarat Women Economic Development Corporation Ltd. introduced the Assistant Beauty Wellness Consultant program at its Skill Upgradation Center (SUC) in Bharuch. This intensive one-month, 140-hours course provided training to 25 individuals in fundamental beauty and wellness skills, covering areas such as skincare, makeup application, and customer service.
In addition to the course, participants also benefited from an Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) that delved into crucial topics like business selection, financial management, and networking. The primary goal of this initiative was to equip individuals, especially women, with the necessary skills to pursue employment opportunities in the beauty and wellness sector, thereby fostering economic development and gender inclusivity within the community.
Recently, the SUC Bharuch centre organised a Certification Programme for the women who successfully passed the Assistant Beauty Wellness Consultant course exams. These women displayed exceptional commitment and proficiency throughout their training, contributing significantly to their personal and professional advancement.
During the Certification Programme, Ms. Devina Kamal, the Associate Director of CSR at Jubilant Ingrevia Limited, graced the event, interacted with the trainees, and presented certificates to the graduates of the Beauty and Wellness Course at the SUC Bharuch centre. Her presence not only honoured their accomplishments but also recognised their dedication, marking a significant milestone in their journey towards a prosperous career in the beauty and wellness industry.
EMPOWERING WOMEN IN RURAL GUJARAT
JBF Bharuch CSR Team has made a notable impact on the empowerment of women and the enhancement of maternal and child healthcare in rural Gujarat. The team contributed 10,664 meters (92 rolls) of black and white floral fabric to the Sharada Mahila Vikas Society (SMVS), a distinguished NGO dedicated to women's empowerment in Bharuch. SMVS has been actively engaged in improving the lives of women, youth, and children in the tribal regions of Jhagadia, Gujarat, through a variety of initiatives. Utilising the donated fabric, the Women Self-Help Group (SHG) of SMVS created Mother and Newborn Baby Kits, which comprised Breastfeeding Maternity Gowns and Cloth Diapers & Kimonos for new-borns. These kits were donated to SEWA Rural Hospital, a 250-bed facility that offers 24/7 emergency services for pregnant women, children, adults, and patients with eye conditions. The provision of these Mother and Newborn Baby Kits will not only bolster the hospital's mission to deliver quality maternal and child healthcare to the rural population but will also empower the women participating in the garment production initiative.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY
JBF Nira organised an event at Babalal Kakade Vidylaya Pimpre to commemorate International Yoga Day, aiming to raise awareness about the advantages of yoga and inspire students to adopt the traditional method of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The agenda probably consisted of yoga presentations and discussions led by instructors, with active involvement from both students and teachers.
SEED BALLS MAKING COMPETITION
The seeds balls making competition was organised at BSK School, Nimbut to raise awareness about seed dispersal and environmental conservation during the rainy season.
The successful creation of 150 seed balls will help in the propagation of native plants in the area.

AWARENESS SESSION ON HEATSTROKE PREVENTION
JBF conducted a session for women to raise awareness about the causes and prevention of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. The objective of the event was to inform the community about the dangers of extreme summer weather and to offer effective strategies to reduce these health risks. 48 women attended this session.

FARMERS EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM
JBF in collaboration with the Farmbridge Social Support Foundation has launched Farmers Empowerment Program in ten villages of Kapasan & Chittorgarh block. The initiative aimed to introduce modern farming practices to enhance agriculture productivity in water-scarce areas. The familiarity and knowledge of modern tools and techniques will enable the community to transform lives and landscapes while addressing climate change concerns.
RURAL DEVELOPMENT
WATER AND NOURISHMENT SUPPORT
JBF, in partnership with the Chittorgarh District Administration, has undertaken significant initiatives to combat the urgent issue of water scarcity while also promoting the welfare of avian species and stray animals in the area during the summer season. In response to the extreme heatwave conditions, JBF has distributed 100 water feeders and birdseed to local residents. The region is currently experiencing a severe water shortage, exacerbated by the intense heat, which has made it increasingly difficult for birds and stray animals to access dependable water sources. This initiative seeks to engage the local community in providing essential water and nourishment for the birds, thereby safeguarding their welfare during this challenging period. Additionally, JBF is supplying drinking water to the Gram Panchayats of Singhpur, Narela, and Banakiya Kala.

PULSE POLIO DRIVE AND MOBILE DISPENSARY SERVICES
Jubicare actively participates in the Pulse Polio Drive at PHC Samlaya. Every Sunday the volunteers reach out to the community to ensure that children receive vital polio vaccinations, playing a key role in disease prevention and well-being.
Mobile Health Dispensary, an initiative led by Jubilant Bhartia Foundation (JBF), offers affordable and accessible public healthcare services to 15 villages surrounding the Savli manufacturing facility. Since its establishment, our services have enhanced basic healthcare provisions and empowered local communities. All underprivileged residents visiting the mobile dispensary receive thorough medical assessments and necessary medications. Furthermore, they receive guidance and education on adopting healthier habits in their daily lives. 794 patients were diagnosed and treated in the last month.
EDUCATION
PRAVESHUTSAV - CELEBRATING NEW ADMISSIONS
In Gujarat, government schools commence each academic year with the Shaala-Praveshotsav, an event dedicated to the enrolment of new students. The JBF plays an enthusiastic role in supporting and participating in the Praveshotsav celebrations. A significant development in the education system is the introduction of Senior Kindergarten (Balvadi) in schools, which we warmly welcome.
Key representatives, including Ms. Devina Kamal (CSR, HO), Mr. Neeraj Tripathi (HR, Savli), Ms. Krishna Sharma (HR support, Savli), Mr. Dharam Pandya (PR Savli), Mr. Chintan Shah (Production, Savli), Mr. Ravindra Patil (Accounts, Savli), and Ms. Harshala Sanghvi (CSR Savli), visited these institutions to engage with the students and inspire them.
MUSKAAN EDULAB LAUNCH
Muskaan Edulab represents a significant effort by JBF to address the digital gap in rural primary schools. The project involves the provision of necessary infrastructure and educational assistance. Utilising adaptive learning technology through the mind spark software, the lessons are customised as per the learning levels of the students. The inauguration of Muskaan Edulab at Nani Bhadol School in Savli marked the commencement of the academic year. This pioneering initiative seeks to improve primary education by offering personalised assistance, access to a digital lab, and promoting parental involvement.
MUSKAAN ASTROLAB INAUGURATION
Mrs. Devina Kamal, CSR Lead at the Head Office and Mr. Pravin Parmar, Block Resource Co-ordinator, attended the opening of the Muskaan Astrolab, a pioneering science and astronomy project initiated by the JBF in Savli. This specialised lab is dedicated to promoting interest and education in astronomy within the local community, offering hands-on experience and learning opportunities in the field of science.

NEEM PULVERISATION UNIT VISIT
Devina Kamal – CSR Lead, visited the Neem Pulverisation unit where she engaged with the women employed there and appreciated the exceptional quality of their work. Additionally, the Health team had the opportunity to converse and express their views regarding the operations.
SHG EXHIBITION
JBF Savli provides skill-oriented training to residents of the local community in order to improve their chances of employment. Their array of courses covers areas such as Stitching, Beautician, Toran Making, and Soap Making. These thoughtfully crafted programs result in establishing long-term job prospects for members of the community.
This month, the Self-Help Group women organised an exhibition and sales booth at Vadodara station to display and sell their merchandise.
