Under the Har Ghar Tiranga Initiative of the Government of India, flags were distributed in schools and communities by Jubilant Bhartia Foundation
'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' is an initiative by the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements. Being the CSR wing of Jubilant Bhartia Group, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation (JBF) works for the communities In order to celebrate the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, JBF distributed flags in schools and communities of Gajraula. On the occasion of Independence day, an art & craft competition was organised at Upper Primary School Tigaria Khadar and UPS Khungavali, Gajraula. A rally was organised at Composite School, Kankather with ~80 students under Har Ghar Tiranga initiative. Independence Day was celebrated at the JBF Medical Center, Gajraula in the presence of Kripal Singh, Sunil Kumar Dixit, PR Head and Amarjit Singh.
In Savli, this special day was commemorated by the team JBF by organising a number of events. National flag unfurling ceremonies were conducted in the company’s premises and at three different schools. Various competitions were also held for company employees and at the primary schools of Juna Samlaya, Karachiya and Pasva (Savli).
In Nira, as part of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation distributed tricolours to Nira and Nimbut Gram Panchayats. During the ceremony, Ajay Dhage (CSR Head) and Isak Mujawar (PR Head) were there to witness the grand celebration of 75th Amrit Mahotsav.

Community Interface Meet
Each year, JBF organises the Community Interface Meet (CIM) for communities.This year, the theme of CIM was to showcase the perspective on community development and its safety. It plays a critical role in bringing communities together to work for a larger goal. This CIM provides a platform to the people from different communities for a one-on-one discussion.
From Gajraula, a total of 107 people participated in the event. The chief guests for this event were Himanshu Kumar Shukla, Amit Joshi, Sunil Dixit, Anup Shukla and Dharmendra Mehra.
Inauguration of Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Centre ambulance and Vittor Kit Distribution
A new health van of the JBFMC was inaugurated by Himanshu Kumar Shukla (Unit Head & VP, Gajraula) The purpose was to provide better healthcare facilities to local communities. Additionally, Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE) project was also inaugurated. In this project, women from the nearby villages will be trained to measure blood pressure, blood sugar, height, weight, HB and other health-related parameters. They will also be equipped with a kit that includes all the necessary tools related to the health checkup. This model will not only make the health facilities accessible at the doorstep by local communities but also empower the women in those areas.
Inauguration of Jubi Farm Phase 3 and Green House Tomato Project
Under JubiFarm phase – 3 a Green House Tomato Project was recently inaugurated by Vivek Prakash, VP & Head – CSR. JBF in collaboration with Jubilant Consumers initiated a pilot project on the cultivation of hybrid tomatoes that will be purchased by Jubilant Consumers. As of now, it is in the pilot phase and the cultivation is going on in four acres of land with 20 farmers. At the nursery, a total of 60,000 saplings were planted and will be transplanted in the farms of select farmers.
Pashu Sakhi Project
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation in partnership with Goat Trust, started two projects on the livestock – Goatry and Poultry. Under these projects, 500 and 100 farmers were registered respectively. 10 Pashu Sakhis were also trained to help these farmers and to act as health agents for these Goatry and poultry projects.
Under Goatry, 10 health camps were organised in 10 villages that includes 34 artificial inseminations, 23 first aids and 77 deworming of goats.
Under Poultry project, regular monitoring of 60 poultry farmers is being done on a regular basis. Recently, the team of Goat Trust organised a field visit and met with Pashu Sakhis.
For implementing the second phase of the Goatry Project, a training session for the ground staff was conducted in Lucknow.
This project not only empowers the poultry and Goatry farmers to have a stable source of income but also creates a positive impact in the lives of Pashu Sakhis.
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Centre (JBFMC) and Ayushmaan Card Campaign
To provide affordable health care facilities, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation started the community health care service that includes Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Centre (JBFMC) and Mobile Health Camp. This helps in empowering the community thus strengthening the health care facilities in the area. In July 2022, a total of 787 outgoing patients were registered at JBFMC, 1,567 patients were registered through Mobile Dispensary and 87 ayushmaan cards were made.
Under MobileEye Initiative (Mobile Eye Checkup Van), 1,766 patients were screened.
CLAP Project (Continued Learning Access Project)
In order to address the issues related to online education, HP in collaboration with JBF started CLAP (Continued Learning Access Project) project. Under this, a laptop and Wi-Fi facility is provided to the registered students. Currently, we have 3,192 registered beneficiaries under this project from 35 different schools. 320 beneficiaries completed 20 hours of training on basic and advanced computer skills, finance management and vocational courses. 210 students completed their certification course with HP Life portal.
Induction session of 30 Muskaan Fellows
Muskaan Fellowship is a youth development program. In this project, we identify youths and work on their capacity building and personality development through different activities and session. Addtionally, under this project, all 30 fellows are given the responsibility of 16 government schools where they will assist the children of different classes in their studies. This will not only help them in their skill development but also motivate students to learn new things.
An orientation session was also organised with these Muskaan Fellows explaining the projects and understanding the expectations. On the occasion of 75th Independence day, a drawing competition was organised by Muskaan fellows.

Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Centre
The community healthcare initiative by the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation provides 15 villages in the vicinity of the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) location with public healthcare that is affordable, accessible, and equitable. Since its inception, our services have helped strengthen nearby basic healthcare facilities and empower the local populations to maintain good health. Patients who visit OPD also get guidance and education on integrating healthier habits into their lifestyles. For underprivileged local residents, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Centre started day-care services, where they get proper medical evaluation and treatments. Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Center and mobile dispensary services provide diagnoses. In the first quarter of this financial year, we offered medicine to 3,563 patients and 1,479 patients in August.
Muskaan Fellowship Chapter 4
Muskaan Fellowship is a year-long mentorship and training program for rural adolescents. It nurtures the leadership traits of the fellows and mentors them into a goal-oriented future and active citizenship. In the financial year 2022-23, we selected and mobilised 43 youngsters from various communities. The coordinators of Jubilant Bhartia Foundations received a five-day training on Muskaan Fellowship project.
Certificate Distribution Ceremony
With the intention to increase employment in the community, several trainings were initiated by Jubilant Bhartia Foundation’s Skill Upgradation Centers inVilayat and Bharuch. These initiatives intends to give skill training in tailoring, beautician competencies, basic IT skills, soft skills and supply chain & logistics for a sustainable livelihood generation. Our skill upgrading centres in Vilayat and Bharuchwe hosted certificate ceremonies to award certificates to 168 trainees who completed their training courses in sewing, beautician, basic computer, logistics and supply management. Atul Dadich, Director - HR,. Arun Dhagarra -Senior Manager - Admin & Security and other employees awarded certificates to the trainees. Our trainees will benefit in the long run and hopefully, contribute to their sustainable livelihood generation.
Jubifarm
To support the farmers in developing sustainable farming through agro-forestry and horticulture as peripheral areas of agriculture, the team of Jubilant Bhartia Foundation is facilitating farmers from the nearby villages in Bharuch. As part of our Jubifarm project, we have begun the distribution of plant saplings to farmers at the SUC Vilayat where we mobilised approximately 150 farmers. In this month-long activity, our team distributed over 9,000 fruit-bearing saplings to more than 90 farmers for plantation in their fields. Going forward, we aim to cover over 150 farmers in this project with a target of a plantation of 15,000 saplings. In the future, this will be helpful to farmers as they will also be able to produce new sources of income from these trees. The team also started the registration of these farmers into the Jubifarm Ap to monitor and track their progress.

Mobile Dispensary- OPD Camps at 15 Villages
In Savli, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation launched a new mobile dispensary in July ‘22 to offer accessible, affordable, and equitable public healthcare services. So far, we organised various Outpatient Department (OPD) camps in 15 villages, where more than 300 patients were treated and given medicines. Our ambulance is equipped with health screening kits to determine the basic parameters at the preliminary level.
Neem Pulverisation Unit- SHG Training at Odisha
The Paryavaran Sakhi project by Jubilant Bhartia Foundation is aimed at neem plantations where Self Help Groups (SHGs) are formed and female farmers are enrolled from the community. This project hopes to achieve both the expansion of the green belt in the region as well as the reduction of pollution in the surrounding environment. With the help of self-help groups, we are conducting the real-time monitoring of neemplantation.\. This not only helps women to become more empowered but also provides a variety of opportunities to them for a better living. At Savli, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation facilitated and guided various SHGs to set up and run a business called Neem Pulverization. In this, neem trees are planted and are taken care by these women. Then the neem leaves are collected, dried and pulverised in this process. Since this initiative benefitted so many women around our Savli Plant, it was decided that we train and guide more women to benefit from this business. One of our SHG women from Savli travelled to Odisha to train 80 more women to collect and dry the neem Leaves.

Jubi Farm
In the 3rd year of Jubi Farm project, so far 21,000 fruit saplings are planted by 400 farmers of the Pune and Satara districts. On this occasion, Satish Bhatt (Site Head) was there to encourage the farmers and all other HODs of Jubilant Ingrevia, including Subramanya Bhatt (Production Head), Rajendra Raghav (Maintenance Head), Madhukar Ghogare (Bio Compost Head), Satender Singh (Admin Head), Isak Mujawar (PR Head) graced the occasion. Ajay Dhage addressed the benefits and explained briefly about this project.
Jubi Care
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation continues its efforts to make healthcare facilities available at the doorsteps of rural communities through it’s ambulance units. Our Co- CEO Anil Khupchandani and VP & Head - HR Vinita Kaul inaugurated this initiative to encourage the importance of health amongst rural communities. The occasion was also graced by Dipak Sontakke (HR Head), Satender Singh (Admin Head) and Isak Mujawar (PR Head).With this, we were able to facilitate ~1,000 treatments across 10 villages in terms of medical consultancy, medicine distribution, basic diagnostic tests, special health camps and palliative care at their doorsteps.
Dr. Inamake and the team helped to guide rural communities with the health care process.
Muskaan Fellowship (Fellows) Selection 2022 - 2023
The Jubilant Bhartia Foundation offers Muskaan Fellowship to qualified conductors who are pursuing graduation or at least any bachelor's degree course. In this, we selected 12 fellows and conducted an ice-breaking session with them. On this occasion, Ajay Dhage gave a brief introduction about Muskaan Fellowship and Sayali Funde was involved in different activities with these fellows.
