Location - Gajraula
1. CSR site visit by Honorable Board members.
A visit of Board of Directors at various projects locations was organized on 27th September 2022. During this visit they interacted with the beneficiaries of the E-Muskaan (digitization project of Primary and Upper primary government schools), HP CLAP (Digital literacy project), Vocational Training Center and witnessed the implementation of these projects at ground level.. They also visited the JBF Medical Center.




2. JubiFarm Project
The JubiFarm project by JBF aims to enhance profitability and generate income opportunities in farming for the migrants and farmers. JBF initiated the JubiFarm project to empower and facilitate access to the modern and sustainable farming methods. Under this project, initiatives like Krishi Chaupal and Kissan Sammelan are organized for the capacity building of farmers by Krishi Mitra. Under JubiFarm phase - 3, distribution of fruit tree saplings to 190 farmers have been undertaken. A total of 37,500 tree saplings (Mango, Gauva and lemon saplings) will be distributed to 250 farmers. This will provide them financial safety net during crop failure. Now, registration along with the geo-tagging of farmers have been initiated.


3. Pashu Sakhi Project
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation in partnership with The Goat Trust undertook two projects on livestock – Goatry and Poultry. Under these projects 500 and 100 farmers respectively have been registered. 10 Pashu sakhis have been trained who help these farmers by creating awareness on health. They act as health agents for these goatry and poultry farmers. Grading & selection of new Pashu Sakhis under the Pashu Sakhi project being going on. Under the Pashu Sakhi – goatry project, 28 artificial inseminations, 123 deworming exercises and 15 treatments have been undertaken under the goatry project and monitoring of chicken is going on under the poultry project.



4. Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Centre (JBFMC) and Ayushmaan Card Campaign
In order to provide affordable health care facility, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation started its community health care service which includes Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Centre (JBFMC) and Mobile Health Camp. This helped the JBF team to empower community members hence strengthening the overall health care facility in the area. For the month of September 1189 Outgoing patients were registered at JBFMC and 1756 patients were registered through Mobile Dispensary and 111 Ayushmaan card were made.


5. CLAP Project (Continued Learning Access Project)
In order to address the issues related to online education HP in collaboration with JBF started the CLAP (Continued Learning Access Project) project. Under this initiative, laptop and Wi-Fi facility is provided to registered students. Currently JBF has 38355 beneficiaries registered under this project. It has covered 35 schools under this project. 328 beneficiaries completed their 20 hours training on basic and advance computer skills, finance management and vocational courses. 160 students completed their certification course with HP Life portal. Under the HP CLAP project, an awareness session was conducted among the community children on health & nutrition. A total of 25 students had participated in the nutrition awareness event.




6. Digital Sakhi Project
Frontier Markets, is the largest tech-first women-led social commerce platform connecting end-to-end solutions to rural customers via technology and women entrepreneurs. The strong network of 12,500+ women entrepreneurs called Saral Jeevan Sahelis, leverage their social network. It basically focussed on providing additional source of livelihood for Self Help Group (SHG) women.
“Digital Sakhi” a rural distribution platform initiative of Frontier Markets has been initiated at Gajraula location. It is an initiative to promote rural women entrepreneurs along with connecting rural areas to the e-commerce platform. Currently, a total of 167 sahelis have been on-boarded out of 250 Sahelis. These Sahelis will take the order of FMCG, Agriculture, & electronic products by doing door-to-door visit in their villages. In return they will earn a commission for every order placed by them. This week a total of 70 orders have been made through Saral Jeeven Sahelis from 12 villages


7. Muskaan Fellowship
Muskaan Fellowship is JBF’s youth development program. In this project JBF identifies the youth and work on their capacity building and personality development through different activities and session. Further under this project all the 30 fellows are given responsibility of 30 government schools where they have to assist the children of different class in their studies. This will help them in their skill development and also help the students of the school to learn new things. A drawing competition was organized by Muskaan Fellows on Swacch Bharat Abhiyan with an objective to aware students to make Gajraula a clean and plastic free city. A total of 55 students from class six to class 8 participated in the competition.




Location - Bharuch
1. Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Centre
The community healthcare initiative run by the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation is effective and provides 15 villages around the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) location with public healthcare that is affordable, accessible and equitable. Since its inception, the services have helped in strengthening nearby basic healthcare facilities and empowering the local populations to maintain their health. All patients who visit the OPD also get guidance and education on how to integrate healthier habits into their everyday lives. Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Centre has started day-care services for the underprivileged local residents, where they may get proper medical evaluation and treatment. The Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Center and mobile dispensary services have provided diagnosis and delivered medicines to a total of 1,366 patients in the previous month and 4,121 patients in the quarter from July to September.


2. Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2022: Awareness Camps & Nutritional Kits Distribution
On the occasion of ‘Rashtriya Poshan Maah’ 2022, JBF in collaboration with the Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) initiative organised awareness camps and supported with Nutritional kits to over 200 identified malnourished children in Vagra Taluka for a period of 3 months. The main goal of this program is to improve the nutrition of malnourished children aged 0 to 6. In addition, 55 malnutrition-free healthy children were felicitated, and encouraged to maintain healthy eating habits. Mothers were also appreciated for taking good care of children.




3. Regional Capacity Building Workshop on Workplaces, CSR Models, and NTEP Updates in Ahmedabad
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation was represented in the Regional Capacity Building Workshop on Workplaces, CSR Models, and NTEP Updates held in Ahmedabad. Jubilant Bhartia Foundation received an appreciation award for their work in the ‘End TB’ initiative. The unique volunteer and employee engagement models of the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation were appreciated by everyone in the workshop.


4. India's Future Doctors Workshop for School Children
The Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Health team held India's Future Doctors workshop in 13 schools of Vagra Taluka where primary school students visited the Medical Centre and Mobile Ambulance Services. The Health team educated students and teachers on how doctors operate for patients and how medical instruments work. The purpose of this program was to teach students about medical equipment, enhance their awareness of the different health services available, and impart the skills necessary for providing emergency medical treatment.


5. Muskaan Fellowship 2022-2023 Learning Retreat 1
Muskaan Fellowship is a year-long mentorship and training program for the rural adolescents. It nurtures the leadership traits of the fellows and mentors them into a goal-oriented future and active-citizenship. In the financial year 2022-2023, JBF mobilized 43 youngsters from various communities and selected them after screening. A total of 15 fellows were selected, including 10 girls from Bharuch and 5 boys from villages like Dayadara, Vorasamani, Vagra and Saladara.
The 1st Learning Retreat of Muskaan Fellowship Chapter 4 was conducted by Education Coordinators of Jubilant Bhartia Foundation. The training program focused on self-awareness, self-expression and self-belief. It also focused on values like kindness, trust, integrity and commitment.


6. Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Mobile Science Lab Inauguration
The Mobile Science Lab was inaugurated by Mr. Rajesh Srivastava – CEO & MD, Senior Management team & HODs of plant locations. The Mobile Science Lab aims to conduct classes for children from 6th-8th grade. This program will offer underprivileged school students access to innovative, practical educational experiences at 14 schools in the Bharuch and Vagra taluka region. Students' participation in practical chemistry, physics, biology and other science experiments and activities will improve their learning. The Mobile Science Lab project has sparked a lot of student interest.



7. Livelihood- Tomato & Capsicum Cultivation Project
JubiFarm is a sustainable and multi-stakeholder initiative which enables farmers to acquire knowledge on good agricultural practices and create sustainable livelihood opportunities by developing sustainable farms through agroforestry and horticulture as peripheral areas of agriculture. Under Jubifarm, JBF is starting a Tomato & Capsicum Cultivation Project to support farmers in becoming empowered and independent, as well as enhance the profitability and generate income opportunities in farming.
For the Jubilant Consumer Tomato & Capsicum Cultivation Project, JBF organised Farmers Meeting and Field Visits in Argama, Ankot, and Dayadara villages. Mr. Pradeep of Jubilant Consumer and JBF Bharuch team members interacted with the farmers and explained the project to them. The meeting was attended by various farmers from the Jubifarm Project from all three villages, and more than nine farmers expressed interest in the project to start on roughly 14–15 acres of land.




Location - Savli
1. Poshan Maah Nutrition Drive: Awareness Camps & Nutritional Kits Distribution
On the occasion of Poshan Maah and in collaboration with Ministry of Women and Child Development, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, Savli conducted a Nutrition drive for malnourished kids and adolescent girls of Savli Taluka. 80 nutrition kits were distributed to severely malnourished kids and over 200 girls received health screenings. This drive was inaugurated by MLA Ketan Inamdar, District WCD Officer, CDPO, Sarpanchs of various villages, Mr. Neeraj Tripathi- HR Head Jubilant Ingrevia Limited- Savli location, and all Anganwadi workers of Savli Taluka.



2. Inaugration of Project Udaan
Project Udaan is an initiative by Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, Savli and Ministry of Women and Child development. The project is aimed at providing basic computer training and soft skills to dropped-out adolescent girls of Savli Taluka. With the help of HP’s World on Wheels Bus, this project aims to cover 20 villages of Savli Taluka, Gujarat. The project was inaugurated on 23rd September 2022 under the guidance of ICDS.
3. Muskaan Fellowship- First Phase sessions completed with School Students
Following the training of 12 Muskaan Fellows in previous month, 16 sessions on value and life skills were imparted in 14 primary schools of Savli Taluka. With the overwhelming response of the students, the Muskaan fellows feel evidently more confident and seasoned in the art of facilitation and training.





Location - Nira
1. Interaction Session with HOD’s & Muskan Fellow
An interaction session was held with senior members (HODs) of Jubilant Ingrevia & Muskaan Fellows in Nira Location. The HR-Head Mr. Deepak Sontakke, Safety-Head Nishikant Phad, PR-Representative Mr. Isak Mujawar were present to interact with Muskaan Fellows. They were delighted to know the module of MUSKAAN Fellowship and also gave their best wishes to the fellows. Mr. Ajay Dhage & Ms. Sayali Funde from CSR department were present to facilitate the interaction session.



2. First Learning Retreat of Muskan Fellowship
Muskan Fellowship is youth development program initiative of Jubilant Bhartia Foundation. It provides undergraduates training on values, attitude & behavior programs. Gives them the opportunity to enhance their values, skills & personality with the finest training module of ‘PRAVAAH’ organisation with the belief that these fellows will be the future leaders of this society.
The Muskan Fellowship provides opportunities for fellows to create their own performances and safe space where they can enhance their learning, happiness & JBF team motivates them to take charge of their learning.
Ms. Sayali Funde from CSR Dept facilitated this Muskan Learning Retreat.




3. Jubilant Bhartia Foundation added a new location in their Mobile Ambulance Service.
JBF's mobile ambulance facility has been conducting daily health check-ups at around 7 locations. Apart from these locations JBF has extended this service at 3 more locations i.e. Patharvasti, Jagatapvasti & Kuranwasti who are challenged during limited healthcare facility. To improve the quality of life JBF has added three locations in the Pune district. To minimize health related issues in the community, JBF ‘Mobile Ambulance’ initiative continuously takes efforts to improve the health of general public.


4. Health check-up by JBF Mobile Ambulance
JBF developed a ‘Mobile Ambulance’ management program to achieve sustainability and to cater to those who cannot afford treatment of certified doctors. To help prevent the spread of flu and other infectious diseases, JBF Mobile Ambulance organised health check facility and vigorously took efforts to minimize the health related issues prevalent locally.



5. Khel Khel mein Badlien Duniya
Primary education is the basic foundation on which a nation builds its future. Khel Khel Mein Badlien Duniya is an activity/initiative where JBF aims to bring the element of happiness and joy while learning. This enables learners and teachers to experience teaching-learning in a stress-free environment. Ms. Sayali Funde CSR Dept conducted this initiative for JBF.
