1. National Sports Day Celebrations at Schools
The National Sports Day in India is celebrated on August 29, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand. Major Dhyan Chand won gold medals in Olympics for India in the years 1928, 1932 and 1936. A friendly cricket match was organised by the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation at the Jubilant Ingrevia Limited’s facility between the members of the surrounding community and Jubilant’s under men and women category. The winner of both category were team Jubilant.
A sports event was organised by the education department, Gajraula under which various sports like 100m, 400m race, musical chair & tug of war were held. Mr. Himanshu Shukla, V.P. & Unit Head was invited as the chief guest of the event
2. CSR Field Exposure to GETs
A field visit for the GETs was organised on 31st August 2022 to introduce them to the various CSR initiatives going on at the Gajraula location. They interacted with the school students and conducted various activities with them like dancing classes, drawing classes and career guidance at Upper Primary School, Tigri. A sports kit was also handed over to the school authority by the GETs as a token of gift. The GETs also visited other project locations like green-house tomato nursery, JBF Vocational Training Center and JBF Medical Center.
3. Inauguration of ‘END TB’ Project
A total of 1.5 million people died from TB in 2020 (including 2,14 ,000 people with HIV). Worldwide, TB is the 13th leading cause of death and the second leading infectious killer after COVID-19 (above HIV/AIDS). TB is present in all countries and age groups however it is curable and preventable. In order to support the Government in its efforts to curb TB, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation in collaboration with The Union started the ‘End TB’ project. Under this project local volunteers are selected and trained by the master trainer followed by a locality survey. Inauguration of END TB project was done in the presence of Mr. Rajesh Kr. Srivastava – CEO & MD, Mr. Vijay Kr. Srivastava – President - Operations, Dr. Mumtaz Ansari – District Tuberculosis Officer, Mr. Anil Khubchandani – Co-CEO & WTD, Mr. Vivek Prakash – VP & Head - CSR, Dr. Md. Akil – WHO, Mr. Himanshu Kr. Shukla – VP & Unit Head and Amit Joshi –Head-HR. A total of 80 volunteers were present in the event.
4. Distribution of Nutrition kit under the Swasthya Prahari Malnutrition project
To bring out children from malnourishment towards making them more nourished, nutrition kits were distributed to over 60 children. A total of 240 malnourished children from Gajraula will receive nutrition kits for next three months. Mr. Himanshu Shukla – VP & Unit Head, Mr. Sunil Kr. Dixit, Director - Public Relations and Mr. Sanjeev Kumar were the Chief Guests for the event.
5. Exposure Visit Of Farmers On Drip Irrigation
To promote drip irrigation in sugarcane cultivation among the farmers, a field visit was conducted under the JubiFarm project. A total of 20 interested farmers were selected and taken to the Khatapur village, Bijnaur (U.P.) to experience the drip irrigation technique being used for sugarcane cultivation.
6. JubiFarm Project
The JubiFarm project aims to enhance the profitability and generate income opportunities in farming for the migrant workers as well as farmers. JBF initiated the JubiFarm project to empower and facilitate access to modern and sustainable farming methods to the underserved population. Under this initiative Krishi Chaupal and Kissan Sammelan are organised for the capacity building of farmers by Krishi Mitra. In phase 3 of JubiFarm project, distribution of fruit tree saplings to 250 farmers was initiated. It was inaugurated by VP & Unit Head – Mr. Himanshu Kumar Shukla and Director - Public Relations, Mr. Sunil Kumar Dixit. A total of 37,500 tree saplings will be distributed.
7. Pashu Sakhi Project
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation in partnership with The Goat Trust started two projects on livestock – Goatry and Poultry. Under this project 500 and 100 farmers have been registered in the projects respectively. 10 Pashu Sakhis have been trained who are helping these farmers by creating awareness on health. They act as health agents for these Goatry and poultry farmers. Grading and selection of new Pashu Sakhis under the Pashu Sakhi project has been going on. Under the Pashu Sakhi – Goatry Project, 40 Artificial Insemination, 108 deworming and 24 treatments have been done. Monitoring of chickens is going on under the poultry project. A five days refresher training of Pashu Sakhis on business linkage and relevant care is conducted by The Goat Trust.
8. Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Centre (JBFMC) and Ayushmaan Card Campaign
To provide affordable health care facility, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation facilitates community health care service which includes Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Centre (JBFMC) and Mobile Health Camps. This helped to empower community through a healthy life, hence strengthening the health care facility in the area. For the month of August 2022, 1170 Outgoing patients were registered at JBFMC and 1653 patients were registered through Mobile Dispensary and 113 Ayushmaan cards have been made.
9. CLAP Project (Continued Learning Access Project)
In order to address the issues related to online education, HP in collaboration with JBF started the CLAP (Continued Learning Access Project) project. Under this initiative, laptop and Wi-Fi facility are provided to allregistered students. Currently there are 3505 beneficiaries registered under this project and it has covered 35 schools under this project. 359 beneficiaries have completed their 20 hour training on basic and advance computer skills, finance management and vocational courses. 178 students have completed their certification course with HP life portal.

1. Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Centre
The community healthcare initiative run by the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation is effective and provides healthcare facilities in 15 villages around the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) with public healthcare that is affordable, accessible and equitable. Since its inception, its services have helped in strengthening nearby basic healthcare facilities and empowering the local population to maintain their health. All patients who visit the OPD also get guidance and education on how to integrate healthier habits into their everyday lives. Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Centre has started day services for the underprivileged local residents, where they may get proper medical evaluation and treatment. The Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Centre and mobile dispensary services have provided diagnoses and delivered medicine to a total of 1,262 patients in the previous month.
2. Information Booklet Distribution
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation distributed informational booklets around the community with details on the safety standards and regulations that the Company adheres to, as well as safety plans for the local population in the event of an emergency. The primary goal of distributing these booklets was to clarify their beliefs about the Company and to provide them a sense of security and protection.
3. Health Camp
A health and nutrition camp for pregnant women and anganwadi children was organised in Vilayat by the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation to increase public knowledge of nutrition and good eating habits. At Anganwadi Centers, Dr. Shailesh Nakum provided parents and guardians of children with information on how to prevent malnutrition, as well as pregnant women with health advice. Along with spreading awareness, 84 anganwadi kids received school bags and 21 pregnant women received nutrition kits. Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) assisted the team by engaging actively and measuring the BMI of the anganwadi children. Anganwadi Workers helped us by actively taking part in and monitoring the health of pregnant women and children who are malnourished.
4. GETs CSR Training
More the plants, the cleaner the environment. A sapling plantation drive was organised at the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation’s Medical Centre in Vilayat. Our Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) and medical staff members planted saplings on the grounds of the Medical Centre. The major goal of the initiative was to enhance the amount of green space around the Medical Centre since green spaces promote patient recovery and also reduce stress.
Children spend most of their time in schools and are vulnerable to injuries and mild ailments and hence often require first-aid care. Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Bharuch Team distributed First Aid Boxes through Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) in schools in Ankot, Rahad, and Saladara. These first aid boxes included sterile gauze pads, adhesive tape, adhesive bandages, antiseptic wipes, hand sanitizer, antiseptic solution, scissors and antibiotic ointment.
5. Muskaan Celebration
The Jubilant Bhartia Foundation felicitated 30 students through prizes at the Nandelav Primary School. These students took part in their Muskaan Monthly activities and ranked first, second, and third. The organisation's purpose in holding such events is to encourage young children to attend school, motivate them to take part in extracurricular activities and recognise the accomplishments of students as well as provide them with opportunities to acquire a range of skills that all contribute to their personal growth and development.
6. Rural Development
The primary cause of many waterborne infections is drinking contaminated or dirty water. Jubilant Bhartia Foundation recently installed a RO water filter, Fox Lights, Ceiling Fans and provided maintenance work support to Derol Primary Health Care Centre (PHC) in response to their request. This RO water filter will give clean and safe water to the staff and patients at the PHC, hence reducing the risk of severe infections.
7. Independence Day Celebrations
The Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Bharuch team organised a variety of programmes to honour the important day through observing the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav - Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign. Cultural events and flag-raising ceremonies were organised at the JBF office and the Bharuch and Vilayat Skill Upgradation Centers. The team took part in the Independence Day programs at Umraj and Nandelav schools. 30 students were felicitated who participated and stood meritious in the Muskaan monthly activities with rewards. The team also gave flags to all JBF employees, local people and trainees at the Skill Upgrading Centrers. 29 trainees who participated in the cultural program at the Skill Upgrading Centers were presented with gifts as a token of appreciation for their participation.
8. Janmashtami Celebrations
The Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Team from Bharuch took part in numerous activities, including a drawing competition and Rangoli making competiiton, during the Janmashtami celebrations held at the facility.
Location - Savli
1. Mobile Dispensary- OPD Camps at 15 Villages
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation at Savli launched a new mobile dispensary in the month of July in order to offer accessible, affordable and equitable public healthcare. So far, various Outpatient Department (OPD) camps in 15 villages have been organised, where treatment and medicine is provided to more than 800 patients. The ambulance is equipped with a health screening kit to help determine the basic parameters at preliminary level.
2. Health Check-up Camp, Juna Samlaya
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Health Team held a General Health check-up and awareness camp in Juna Samlaya Prathmik Shala Savli. Under this camp, over 200 students were given awareness session on Nutrition and Sanitation. Basic parameters, height, weight and temperature were checked at this camp. The students with patients were referred to visit the mobile dispensary with their guardian/parent.
3. Pregnant Women’s Health Check-up Camp
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Health Team held a Pregnancy health check-up and nutritional awareness camp in Javla, Samantpura, Manorpura villages in Savli. Under this camp, over 20 pregnant women were given awareness session on nutrition and pregnancy care. Nutritional kits were also distributed.
4. Muskaan Fellowship- First Learning Retreat
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation kick-started its Muskaan Fellowship Chapter-4 at Savli with its first learning retreat. This year, 12 muskaan fellows have been selected for Savli location, out of over 50 applications. This diverse group of youth were ecstatic to receive their first leadership training where they learnt about various facilitation skills, how to conduct sessions, importance of goals and aspirations, etc. They also gave mock tests to feel prepared to go into the community with the very exciting new curriculum on skills and values.
5. Shala Sthapna Diwas- School Foundation Day Celebration
Juna Samlaya Prathmik Shala-Savli celebrated its 97th Foundation Day where Jubilant’s team was invited as Chief Huests. The teachers and students expressed their zeal in the form of various cultural events. They expressed their gratitude towards Jubilant Bhartia Foundation for supporting the school’s development and wellbeing, especially during the pandemic.
6. Teacher’s Day Celebrations
Teacher’s day is an occasion where teachers of Govt. Primary school especially feel appreciated amidst immense toll of responsibilities. Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, Savli team expressed its respect and gratitude to such teachers by organising cultural events and distributing token of appreciation to them. Some students took the role of teachers for a day to step into the shoes of their teachers for once and realise what it is like.
7. Farmer’s Tomato Cultivation Project
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation in association with Jubilant Consumers Pvt. Ltd. started a pilot on cultivation of various vegetables along with business linkage and training for the farmers. Under this project, various farmers were identified to take part in the pilot project and 20 acres of land has also been prepared for the same. Cultivation of tomato will take place in the next month.
8. Small Community Interface Meeting- Juna Samlaya
Jubilant Bhartia Foundation conducted a small community interface meeting at Juna Samlaya in order to understand the needs of the community, concerns and updates. The overall outcome was positive. The meeting had a great response from the youth and the education department.
Location - Nira
1. Jubi – Care
Mobile Health Services reaching population living in geographically remote areas and those communities’ cut-off from mainstream services where even the first level medical facilities are not reachable were made available to the local community. Our Mobile Medical Units plays a significant role in enabling the marginalized population with a healthier life.
JBF provides an Ambulance along with a doctor (Dr. Chandrakant Inamake (MBBS)) and ANM to provide primary healthcare & half yearly health checkup to students studying and residing in Ashramshalas and Z. P. Schools. JBF also facilitates primary health check-ups of women by a doctor( Dr. Sharmila Inamake) across all age groups so that their health risk is minimized. Ms. Sayali Funde of JBF was also present during the initiative.
2. Independence Day celebrations
Independence Day was celebrated with the Anganwadi workers & kids to encourage their work and to build a peaceful and developed community in Nira. The wealth of the nation cannot be evaluated in terms of its economic growth alone but in the kind and quality of its children. The future and success of our nation rests on them.
As a part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation’s Nira team also distributed tricolor flags at the Nira & Nimbut Grampanchayat.
3. Teacher’s Day Celebration
Teachers are the backbone of the growth and development of any nation. They serve as the building blocks that shape and develop one’s skills and potential. September 5 is celebrated as Teacher’s Day every year in order to honour the teachers and the part they play in influencing the lives of their students.
Considering the significance of the role of teaches, it is important to empower them with necessary tools to ensure that they have the best skills and knowledge to impart to their students. JBF celebrated Teacher’s Day at the Jubilant School Nira by celebrating the change makers of the life of the students.
4. Health Check-up Camp - Jubilant English School (Nira)
With the primary objective of providing quality healthcare to the children, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Nira team organised a free health check-up camp at the Jubilant School (Nira). This initiative also included an interactive and educational session with the aim to improve the practices inclusive of hygiene & daily dietary requirements.
