Block level Dance Competition organised-Schoolywood

Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Savli, in collaboration with Kirti Education Trust, proudly presented a grand taluka level dance competition on the auspicious occasion of the 77th Indian Independence Day. The event witnessed an overwhelming participation of 215 talented students from 30 schools across the region, spanning classes 1 to 10. The enthusiasm and energy of the young participants added to the vibrant atmosphere, showcasing their dedication to the art of dance. Esteemed guests graced the occasion, including BRC Pravin Kumar, Head of the Teachers Committee Hirenbhai Vasava, and several other dignitaries. Their presence added significance to the event and motivated the young participants to give their best performances. The panel of judges comprised of former participants of the renowned television show, Dance India Dance. Their expertise and keen observation added a touch of professionalism to the competition, ensuring that the performances were evaluated with precision and fairness.

Foundation Day

Juna Samlaya Prathmik Shala-Savli celebrated its 97th Foundation Day where Jubilant’s team was invited as chief guests. The teachers and students expressed their zeal in the form of various cultural events. They expressed their gratitude towards Jubilant Bhartia Foundation for supporting the school’s development and wellbeing.

Celebration of Teacher's Day with 7 Government Primary School

For celebration of Teacher's Day, the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation hosted a heartwarming event that recognized the invaluable contributions of educators and celebrated the spirit of learning. This special occasion brought together six schools to felicitate both teachers and students who took on the role of teachers for the day.

The event took place on 5/9/23 at Juna Samlaya Prathmik Shala, Karchiya Prathmik Shala, Paswa Prathmik Shala, Fatima High School, Nani Bhadol Prathmik shala, Vaidya Prathmik Shala and Lachanpura Prathmik Shala where the spotlight was firmly on the teachers who shape the future of our society. Students from various schools took the opportunity to step into the shoes of their mentors and experience firsthand the responsibilities and challenges that teachers encounter daily.

Skill Development of Self-Help Groups- Meeting with Women

Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, Savli organised discussion meetings with 150+ women across three villages to organize the SHGs and its credit loans by the government. Planning on setting up various enterprises was done. The women shared their ideas and challenges and the same were addressed.

Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Centre & Mobile Dispensary Services

The community healthcare initiative run by the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation provides public healthcare services in affordable, accessible, and equitable manner around 16 villages of our plant premises. Since its inception, our services have helped strengthen nearby basic healthcare facilities and empower the local populations to maintain their health. All underprivileged local residents who visit the Medical Centre and Mobile Dispensary get proper medical evaluation, medicines, and day-care services, as well as guidance and education on how to integrate healthier habits into their everyday lives. Our Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Centre and mobile dispensary services diagnosed and delivered medicine to a total of 2,764 patients in the month of August 2023.

Swasth Prahari: Awareness & Nutritional Kits Distribution to Pregnant Mothers

Swasth Prahari is a dedicated program aimed at enhancing the health and well-being of pregnant women, lactating mothers, children, and adolescent girls in the community. Through this initiative, we provided essential nutritional kits to over 60 pregnant and lactating mothers in three Anganwadis reaching to communities in Tralsa, Kothi, and Saladara. The kits contain essential nutrients that will help to improve the health of pregnant women and lactating mothers, such as iron-rich foods, calcium-rich foods, folic acid-rich foods, and vitamin D-rich foods. These essential nutrients are key to both the healthy development of the fetus and the well-being of mothers. Beyond kits distribution, we conducted insightful awareness campaigns, featuring brief presentations and a dynamic Q&A sessions, enlightening mothers on the paramount importance of nutrition during pregnancy and lactation. Together, we're nurturing healthier futures.

School Health Camps

In an effort to prioritize the health and well-being of rural students, the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Bharuch Health Team organised school health camps in three villages located within the Vagra Block of Bharuch district. The initiative aimed to provide vital health check-ups and promote awareness of hygiene practices among students.

The school health camps were conducted at Government Primary Schools in Vassi, Kalla, and Cholad villages. The event proved to be a resounding success, benefitting a total of 137 students who received comprehensive health assessments and guidance.

HIV/AIDS Awareness Program

On August 22, 2023, the CSR Bharuch Health Team of the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation organised an "HIV/AIDS Awareness Program" for employees and contractual workers at the Learning Centre. Dr.Hemant Chauhan, Senior Manager - OHC, and Dr.Shailesh Nakum, Deputy Manager - CSR, conducted enlightening sessions covering vital aspects of HIV/AIDS awareness. These sessions addressed topics such as the nature of HIV and AIDS, modes of transmission, the significance of testing, and essential guidelines for a healthier lifestyle. A total of 41 employees and contract labourers actively participated in this program, which included dynamic question-and-answer sessions, allowing for a deep exploration of AIDS-related information and fostering a stronger, more informed community. This gathering was not just about spreading awareness; it was about building a stronger, healthier future for all.

Career Awareness Project

In collaboration with Unifiers Social Ventures Pvt. Ltd., the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation proudly introduces the "Career Awareness" education project in secondary government schools within Bharuch. This initiative aims to empower students by helping them discover their individual skills and talents, fostering the foundation for sustainable career paths.

The Career Awareness Project will engage students in career counseling class sessions, psychometric/skills tests, personalized career handbooks for students, in-person/online career counseling sessions, a telephone career helpline, and the installation of a career counseling wall in schools, among other activities. These resources are designed to facilitate students' self-discovery, exploration of opportunities, and informed career decision-making.

We inaugurated this project successfully at Yuvak Mandal High School in Manubar, graced by the presence of Mr. Alkesh Rana, Associate Director of Public Relations and Public Affairs at Jubilant Ingrevia Ltd Bharuch, and Mr. Saurav Chakraborty, Deputy Manager at JBF CSR Gujarat.

The installation of career walls and distribution of career counseling handbooks have been completed across all participating schools, with students actively engaging in pre-tests. Soon, career counseling sessions will commence in these institutions. The principals and teachers of these schools have conveyed their sincere appreciation to the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation for their invaluable support in implementing such enriching educational programs.

Muskaan Monthly Activity - Har Angaan Mein Ped & Drawing Competitions

Muskaan Activities is an initiative that seeks to promote creativity and innovation among young minds within government schools. These activities are thoughtfully structured and implemented as per a yearly schedule, with each month featuring a distinct theme aimed at enhancing and enriching extracurricular learning experiences.

Recently, the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Bharuch team successfully organised the "Har Angaan Mein Ped" Activity and Drawing Competitions across 15 Government Primary Schools.

The "Har Angaan Mein Ped" activity holds significant importance as it encourages students to embrace environmentally friendly behaviours and contribute to the preservation of our planet. Students and teachers wholeheartedly engaged in tree planting, instilling a sense of responsibility and love for the environment. Students were assigned the task of caring for the newly planted trees, thereby fostering a deeper appreciation for nature.

The Drawing Competition explored diverse themes such as G20, Independence Day, Raksha Bandhan, World Environment Day and Free Drawing. This competition aimed to inspire students to express their inner creativity through art, enabling them to convey their thoughts and observations about their surroundings effectively.

These activities garnered appreciation from parents, educators, and local stakeholders.

Muskaan Fellowship – Certification Programme

Muskaan Fellowship is a year-long mentorship and training program designed for rural adolescents. It aims to cultivate leadership qualities, guide them towards goal-oriented futures, and promote active citizenship. In the financial year 2022-2023, we selected 16 fellows from local communities to participate in this program.

Over the course of the program, these fellows underwent three comprehensive training sessions and actively engaged in various community development initiatives within their respective villages. Furthermore, they made significant contributions by conducting value-based sessions for primary school students in their communities.

To recognize their dedication and hard work throughout the year-long Leadership Development Program, we organised a certification ceremony for Muskaan Fellows who successfully completed the program. During this ceremony, each fellow was individually acknowledged and appreciated for their remarkable efforts.

Muskaan Vigyanshaala: Micro Science Lab

The Muskaan Vigyanshaala: Micro Science Lab project is designed to nurture a passion for science among students from rural backgrounds. Under this initiative, the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation (JBF) has established Muskaan Vigyanshaala: Micro Science Labs in eight government primary schools within the Bharuch region.

The implementation of Science Labs has significantly enhanced the overall learning experience for students, making science education into an enjoyable and engaging journey. Science teachers at these schools regularly conduct science classes with students, resulting in heightened engagement characterized by increased curiosity, creativity, and a deeper understanding of scientific concepts.

HP ALFA (Accessible Learning for All): Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools Digitalization Project

The Jubilant Bhartia Foundation (JBF), in partnership with HP India and the NIIT Foundation, has launched the HP Alfa (Accessible Learning for All) project. This initiative aims to bridge the digital divide by providing digital classrooms to government and government-aided secondary and higher secondary schools in remote areas with limited access to educational resources. Under this project, 28 schools have been equipped with digital screens, content devices, computers, printers, and other digital tools, transforming them into dynamic Smart Classrooms.

The HP ALFA Project Inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr. Alkesh Rana, Associate Director of Public Relations and Public Affairs at Jubilant Ingrevia Ltd, Bharuch, and Mr. Saurav Chakraborty, Deputy Manager of JBF CSR Gujarat.

This project brings technology to the forefront of learning, offering an enriched educational environment that transcends traditional boundaries, benefiting more than 7,899 students. The fusion of technology and education equips students with new-age tools, preparing them for success in an increasingly digital world. The HP ALFA Project exemplifies the transformative impact of collaborative efforts, heralding a brighter future for education in rural Bharuch.

Chandrayaan-3 Live Landing Broadcast at JBF-Setup Smart Classrooms

In the fiscal years 2021–2022 and 2022–2023, the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation (JBF) launched two significant projects: The E-Muskaan: Primary Schools Digitalization Project and the HP ALFA: Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools Digitalization Project. Both endeavours aim to bridge the digital divide by providing digital classrooms to schools located in remote areas with limited access to educational resources, thereby enhancing their access to digital learning. To facilitate the integration of technology into education, a total of 63 schools received essential resources, including 50-inch Smart Android TVs, content devices, computer devices, printers, and various other digital equipment.

On August 23, 2023, the historic live landing of the Chandrayaan-3 mission was broadcasted to all students through Smart TVs provided under the HP ALFA & E-Muskaan Projects by the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation. This event represented a significant milestone in India's lunar exploration endeavours, and the students had the privilege of witnessing this remarkable moment through the Smart TVs provided by Jubilant. It was a celebration of India's historic achievement, establishing it as the first nation worldwide to reach this milestone.

Farmers Empowerment Project

The Farmers Empowerment Project, a collaboration between the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Bharuch and FarmBridge Foundation, is dedicated to enhancing income generation in agriculture through value addition. This project's primary objectives include educating rural farmers in diverse farming techniques, offering livelihood support, and fostering innovative agricultural practices to empower farmers.

The distribution of Biodegradable Hydrogel for Agriculture took place in 10 villages: Derol, Saladara, Rahad, Bhersam, Vilayat, Vahalu, Dayadara, Ankot, Vahiyal, and Sutrel. This eco-friendly technology conserves moisture and releases water when the soil dries, enhancing irrigation efficiency. Farmers are enthusiastic about adopting this innovative farming method, which will allow them to cultivate crops with reduced water consumption.

Soochnapreneur: Digital Community Project

The Soochnapreneur Project, a joint initiative of the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation and the Digital Empowerment Foundation, aims to connect rural residents with public and private information services, social security schemes, and government schemes announced by the state and central governments in a need-based, contextual, and affordable manner, as well as to increase their access to basic cyber services and digital literacy. Additionally, it emphasizes the livelihood, skill-building, an d employability of rural youth and women.

Under this program, ten women from Vagra Taluka, Bharuch, have been enrolled as Soochnapreneurs. They have undergone training and received digital resources such as laptops and printers to establish their own centres and offer a wide range of services to the community.

The Soochnapreneurs' Community Service Centres, skilfully run by dedicated Soochnapreneurs, efficiently meet the needs of the local community. These centres provide essential services and information, facilitating substantial income for the Soochnapreneurs. The Soochnapreneur Project exemplifies the transformative potential of grassroots initiatives, empowering individuals and strengthening the fabric of rural society.

Project Nayee Disha: Vocational Trainings at Bharuch & Vilayat Skill Upgradation Centres (SUC)s

Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, in collaboration with the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED), a Government of Gujarat organization, has been running two Skill Upgradation Centres (SUC) at Bharuch and Vilayat since 2019, providing skill-based training to local community members with the intention of increasing employability in the community.

At the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation's Skill Upgradation Centres in Vilayat and Bharuch, a wide array of skill training courses are offered, covering various skill sets including Tailoring, Beautician, and Basic Computer-Tally. These courses are carefully designed to enable sustainable livelihood generation for individuals within the community.

These Skill Upgradation Centres have witnessed significant enrolment from aspiring students who are keen on acquiring new skills. These courses typically span a three-month period, and the sessions are conducted with remarkable efficiency and regular attendance. This dedication to promoting student learning has not only empowered individuals with valuable skills but has also contributed to the broader goal of enhancing employability within the community.

Independence Day Celebration

Jubilant Bhartia Foundation (JBF) Bharuch team celebrated Independence Day at JBF Skill Upgradation Centre & Jubilant Ingrevia Plant in Bharuch. The event included the hoisting of the national flag, followed by the singing of the national anthem as well as patriotic songs. Additionally, the celebration featured cultural performances by trainees at the JBF Skill Upgradation Centre. Through mesmerizing dance and melodious music, they brilliantly displayed our nation's diverse cultural mosaic. To acknowledge their dedication and talent, our trainees were felicitated with heart-warming gifts.

Community Interface Meeting 2023

Every year, in Gajraula a community meet is organised to stage a platform where Jubilant Ingrevia, and the community can put, discuss, and resolve the relevant concerns. Today, the community interface meet, 2023 was organised by Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, was organised which was enthusiastically participated by more than 150 stakeholders from the community. Major stakeholders’ participants include, Pradhan, government retired and current principals, farmers' union president, teachers, senior citizens, women, children, etc. On the occasion, the products and their manufacturing SOPs were shared with the community, to present the motto of 'responsible care'. The fire mock drill was organised to showcase and share the emergency preparedness with the community. The program was highly successful to cater to the objectives.

77^th Independence Day, 2023 was celebrated by Jubilant Bhartia Foundation. The flag was hoisted by the team. Participants and beneficiaries of the different projects together hold a cultural event at Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Centre, and Vocational Training Centre.

Chandrayaan 3 Mission Success Celebration, 2023

Jubilant Bhartia Foundation in Gajraula Uttar Pradesh, shared the profound happiness on the auspicious event of the success of the Chandrayaan 3 with the school students at government Upper Primary School, Baseli. The moment of happiness was shared through the HP ALFA smart class screens installed during the digitization program run by Jubilant Bhartia Foundation in order to digitize the classrooms to impact the digital divide and make digital education accessible to the rural grounds.

Disaster Relief Efforts in Flood Affected Khadar, Dhanaura Mandi Block by Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, Gajraula

Jubilant Bhartia Foundation reached the zero ground of flood affected areas of the Khadar region, in Dhanaura Mandi block, Amroha district, Uttar Pradesh, to provide the disaster relief aid. 1000 ration kits were distributed in order to curb the immediate underlying food insecurity.

World Breastfeed Week, 2023

World Breastfeeding Week, 2023, was celebrated with communities by organizing awareness camps, by the JBF Gajraula. The event was headed by Dr. Sujinder Phogat (Medical Officer, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, Gajraula). The taboos and myths related to the breastfeeding were discussed in the sessions.

Blood Donation Camp In Collaboration With Maa Ganga Charitable Trust

Jubilant Bhartia Foundation Medical Center with Ma Ganga Charitable Trust organised a blood donation camp, in which 7 donors donated their blood to contribute to blood bank.

HP Accessible Learning For All (ALFA)

JBF in collaboration with HP and NIIT foundation has started HP ALFA project. This project aims to digitize the classroom from 8 to 12. 25 Inter colleges have been digitized. Digital kit contains LED, Chromebook, Printer and educational content from class 8 to 12. This project also focuses on providing vocational training courses through an HP developed portal known as HP Life.

An induction training session was organised by JBF, to provide an induction to teachers to use the porftal and the content installed in the devices.

Later, HP ALFA project was inaugurated in presence of MLA Mahendra Singh Kharagvanshi and District Inspector of School, Amroha Mr Vishnu Pratap Singh, PR Head Jubilant Ingrevia, Sunil Dixit.

MUSKAAN VIGYAANSHALA: Micro Science Labs

Under Muskaan Vigyanshala project, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation has rolled out 20 Vigyanshala science kits constituting physics, chemistry, and biology practical equipment in the government schools in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh. The project aims to cater to the government schools and teachers to provide them with better hands-on facilities to enhance scientific temperament among students.

JubiFarm

The project focuses to enhance the scope of horticulture as peripheral areas of agriculture for the farmers with marginal lands, in the community of Gajraula, JBF, kick started rolling out the plantation drive with the farmers in the community.

ALFA & Muskaan Vigyanshala Inauguration

Career Counselling

The project is a collective effort of JBF, and Unifiers. It focuses to provide career counselling services to the students of 9th and 10th standard. The project is divided into phases. The first phase constitutes conducting pre-test ahead of the counselling sessions that would be provided to the students. The pretest session was rolled out at Rajkiya Government Girls Inter College, Gajraula.

Grameen Samriddhi Kendra

G.S.K is a joint initiative of the JBF and B-able foundation to create a one-stop solution for the farmers from where they can purchase cattle feed and animal nutrition products through Kisan Samridhi Kendras (KSK) under a registered company in the best interest of farmer beneficiaries. Also, the trainings are facilitated on cattle feed, animal nutrition and farming techniques at GSK.

The company has been registered. The company has initiated distributing orders. First board of directors meeting has been taken place.

Teacher’s Day Celebration, 2023

Teacher’s Day is observed to honour the teachers who have sacrificed a lot for the younger generation of our country—to guide and help them to be better people every day. Teacher’s day was celebrated to felicitate the Block Education Officer, Gajraula.

Muskaan Activity:

Jubilant Bhartia Foundation conducted an August Muskaan Activity, which is a theme-based drawing competition. The theme for this year’s competition was the ‘Indian Flag’. The competition was held at Jubilant English Medium School, Nira. Graduate Engineer Trainees of Jubilant Ingrevia, Ltd participated and appreciated the students’ work.

This is a great way to promote patriotism and civic pride among the students. It is also a good opportunity for them to express their creativity and artistic skills. students enjoyed the competition and learned a lot about the Indian flag.

Career Awareness Program- Career Wall Installation and pre-test.

Jubilant Bhartia Foundation in collaboration with Unifiers Social Ventures pvt. Ltd. has started the ‘career awareness program’ which has targeted to reach out over 12,000 students across 7 states, this program is being implemented in 80 government and aided schools, and pre-tests have already started at Nira in Maharashtra and Career wall installation has done at 10 schools.

The program is designed to help students explore different career options and develop the skills they need to succeed in the workforce. We are working with industry partners to provide students with real-world experiences, and we are also providing them with access to career counselling and resources.

Awareness program on women’s health.

The health awareness camp was held on August 11, 2023 at Tarti Mala in Padegaon for women. The camp was organised by the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation.

The camp focused on Cervical Cancer and Breast Cancer, two of the most common cancer in women. Dr. Sharmila Inamke from the JBF provided the information about the causes, symptoms, and prevention of these cancers. The camp was well attended by women from the Tarti Mala community.

Muskaan Science Lab Inauguration program.

Jubilant Ingrevia Ltd, Nira and Jubilant Bhartia Foundation organised Muskaan Science Lab inaugural program at Babalal Sahebrao Kakade School, Nimbut and Mahatma Gandhi School, Nira.

Muskaan Science Lab is a project that aims to improve science education in rural India by providing schools with well-equipped science labs and training teachers on how to use it. JBF has also trained 6 teachers from Pune districts on science laboratory management at Bharuch, Gujarat.

JBF, on 15th August 2023 organised the inaugural program for its Muskaan Science Lab (MSL) project at BSK school and Mahatma Gandhi School in Nira, Pune Maharashtra.
